Hi, and welcome to my homepage
My name is Yngve Andersen and I
live about 30 km northeast of Halden. The district is
Aremark, and by me it is Smieåsen. Here I live with my 9
golden retrievers and the cat ,Drutten.
My prefix is Smiekollen, since we live on a small mountain
top with a great view to the beautiful lake Aremarksjøen. I
started with golden retriever in 1983.
Just Tina, was the very bigining bitch. She had at
that time the successfull kennel "Kargul" close up, and many
thanks to Wenke Gulbrandsen and her mother Kari for helping
me to get her. |

With Tina, my career with
showing up dogs started.I mated Tina to Carienas Image, who
lived by Carienas kennel. From that combination I kept
Just Marco, a dog that gave me lots of luck in show
rings, and he won several BIS as puppie, and
CC `s later on |

Gradually more dogs moved in Mjærumhøgdas
Joker, from kennel Mjærumhøgda and Mjærumhøgdas
Night Fever. |

Nuch Just For Fun |
Mjærumhøgdas Night Fever was mated to NUCH
Ankara Aramis, an english import to kennel Mjærumhøgda..From
now on close family connetions was made to family Mjærum,
who willingly shaered their enormeous knowledge of the breed
of goldens. Since that day Grete and Eivind has become my
best friends. From this breed connections I kept two goldens,
Nuch Just For Fun and Nuch Just A Tribute to
Aramis.
Both became champions easily.Nuch Just For Fun became
the top winning golden bitch 1998 and 2000. Unfortunate I
lost her in cancer too young. It was for me a big loose and
I was devastated. |

She was a "star" inside as well
outside. Today Patrick ( Nuch Just A Tribute
to Aramis). is still going strong 12 years
old. He is for me the most perfekt golden retriever with his
beautiful outline and affected of love to me and the other
dogs he has around |

In 1997 I bought Stenbury Water Navaho
from kennel Stenbury. "Andy" became champion very easily and
he entered the ring as nr 1 in his mind. He became the top
winning Golden Retriever 2000 |

To live with dogs gives
an incredible kredit to life. The doors are always kept open
to dog friends. One thing I love about the hobby we have,it
is truly global, and I have met the most wonderful people on
my adventures around all over the world |
